Aristokrat Records Addresses Burna Boy UK Ban & Potential Label Exit

Stories have flooded the media about Burna Boy being banned from the UK and his label, Aristokrat Records have moved to deny this rumors.

The label’s official press release reads:

The negative stories that are being circulated about Burna boy are malicious and orchestrated to tarnish his brand.  Our position as Burna Boy’s management and label has always been to ignore negative press and let everyone have their say, in this instance; we have decided to address these accusations once and for all. We will no longer comment on any such issues after this.
1. Burna Boy has never been deported from the United Kingdom
2. There is no 15 year ban placed on Burna Boy
3. Burna Boy was never involved in, arrested or convicted for stabbing anyone to death anywhere in the world
4. Burna Boy was never involved in, arrested or convicted of credit card fraud or money laundering.
Finally Burna boy still remains under contract with Aristokrat records and there are no discussions of early termination. We are proud of his achievements and we’ll continue to play our role in his career for as long as possible.
