Forbes List Of 21 Richest Nigerians
Forbes magazine has reviewed the top 21 richest Nigerians based on the value of their shares held in quoted companies, the size and market share of their companies, the number of companies they own and their assumed value, the market value of their company’s brand and the impact of their companies on the Nigerian economy.
Despite the harsh terrain and business challenges involved with starting a business in Nigeria; the successful entrepreneurs listed below held their ground and fought their way to the top. In a country with a population of over 160 million inhabitants and millions of businesses; these 20 entrepreneurs diligently carved their names in the sands of time.

Forbes Lists Don Jazzy As The Richest Nigerian Artiste, 2nd In Africa
Forbes in conjunction with urban music channel 'Channel O' have released the list of Top 10 richest African musicians in 2013. The ranking is based on artist Sales, Social -Media presence, endorsement value, YouTube views, show rates, influence, appearance in newspapers, investments, popularity, e.t.c.

1)Akon– Senegalese-American (Founder, Konvict Music).
2) DON JAZZY – Rank as Best African and Nigeria Music Producer. CEO Mavin Records, Samsung, Loyal Milk and MTN brand ambassador, influential producer. Having produced Songs for D’Banj, Kanye West, Beyonce and American Rap Mogul Jay Z on production credit.

4) D’BANJ – CEO of DB Records, Music Artiste. International music brand, GOOD Music, Def Jam, Mercury deal, Sony Entertainment Music distribution deal.
5) WIZKID – Music Artiste. EME artiste, Starboy CEO, affiliation with Disturbing London, international collaboration with Wale and others, performed twice on state with American Pop Singer Chris Brown, highest paid Pepsi ambassador in Africa, MTN ambassador.

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Insulted At Only Being No 26 On Forbes Rich List
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal is threatening to boycott an annual list of the world’s super-rich, after Forbes magazine claimed he was worth ‘only’ £13billion.
He is unhappy with a ‘flawed’ estimation of his wealth, which left him languishing in 26th place with a mere £13billion.
Prince Alwaleed, the Saudi King Abdullah’s nephew, insists his investments in London’s Savoy Hotel, Apple, Citigroup and News Corp have been undervalued.
According to the prince’s calculations he should have been ranked at number ten with a £19.5billion fortune, right behind L’Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt.

Dangote Is Now The 43rd Richest Man In The World
Nigerian Cement tycoon retains his position as Africa's richest man for the third year in a row. The past year has been eventful for Dangote. In October, he sold off a controlling stake in his flour milling company to Tiger Brands of South Africa. He pocketed $190 million in cash. In February, his Dangote Sugar Refineries acquired a 95% stake in Nigerian sugar producer Savannah Sugar in a bid to maintain its dominant position in the Nigerian sugar industry.
