Dangote, Dantata Set To Invest In Sudanese Economy
Business moguls, Alh. Aliko Dangote and Alh Aminu Dantata,are set to invest in the cement and oil industries of Sudan, Sudan’s Minister of Investment, Mustapha Usman Ismail, has disclosed.
This is just as the planned International Donor Conference would focus on rehabilitating and resettling about 200,000 refuges.
Ismail, a special envoy of Sudanese President Omar Albashir to Nigeria, spoke to journalists at the weekend on his mission in Nigeria, the potentials of Sudan as well as the intent of the Donor Conference.
He said against negative pictures painted of Sudan, the truth remained that the country as at today boasts of huge potentials in virtually all sectors of its economy be it agriculture, oil, mining, construction, education as well as animals and meat resources.

Dangote Is Now The 43rd Richest Man In The World
Nigerian Cement tycoon retains his position as Africa's richest man for the third year in a row. The past year has been eventful for Dangote. In October, he sold off a controlling stake in his flour milling company to Tiger Brands of South Africa. He pocketed $190 million in cash. In February, his Dangote Sugar Refineries acquired a 95% stake in Nigerian sugar producer Savannah Sugar in a bid to maintain its dominant position in the Nigerian sugar industry.

Dangote Splashes N130M On Super Eagles For Reaching The AFCON Finals
Aliko Dangote has splashed the sum of N130 million on the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles for reaching the final of the ongoing 29th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in South Africa.
The Eagles reached the final of AFCON 2013 by thrashing the Malian national team 4-1 in the semi-final match on Wednesday.A statement from Dangote Group explained that the gesture is part of Dangote Group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to promote and encourage sport development in Nigeria. The donation is to acknowledge the exploits of the national team at the AFCON and stimulate them to bring home the coveted trophy.
