Hypertek Digital Signs Sir Victor Uwaifo



One of Nigeria’s longest performing and multi-talented artiste ‘Sir Victor Uwaifo’ has been signed to Hypertek Digital; home to 2face idibia, Dammy Krane and Rocksteady .The good news was made public at a press briefing held at Club Rumours on Friday 29th Sir Victor Uwaifo whose singing career has spanned over fifty years has greatly influenced the Nigerian and African music scene. The musical impressario has over five hundred songs to his name and was the first African to win a Golden Record. Some of his hits include Joromi, Guitar Boy and Siwo-Siwo among many others.


The Hypertek Digital team also introduced Hypertek Shakedown and assured those present of qualitative entertainment and activities. Hypertek Shakedown is a month long line up of activities that will feature new Hypertek Digital releases, media and club tours across cities in Nigeria, exclusive content release for television and radio with loads of fun and interactive events and activities for friends and fans of Hypertek Digital . It will kick off with a feature in Industry Nite on Thursday 4th of December 2013 at Get Arena.  Hypertek Digital (formerly Hypertek Entertainment) is a record label under the 960 Music group umbrella. 960 Music Group is the premier African music leader with strong market positions in recorded music, live music, distribution, music publishing and more.

Forbes Lists Don Jazzy As The Richest Nigerian Artiste, 2nd In Africa



Forbes in conjunction with urban music channel 'Channel O' have released the list of Top 10 richest African musicians in 2013. The ranking is based on artist Sales, Social -Media presence, endorsement value, YouTube views, show rates, influence,  appearance in newspapers, investments, popularity, e.t.c.

 1)Akon– Senegalese-American (Founder, Konvict Music).   

 2) DON JAZZY – Rank as Best African and Nigeria Music Producer. CEO Mavin Records, Samsung, Loyal Milk and MTN  brand ambassador, influential producer. Having produced Songs for D’Banj, Kanye West, Beyonce and American Rap Mogul Jay Z on production credit.
