What a Valentine’s Day for singer Christina Aguilera!
The pop singer revealed on Twitter over the weekend that she was engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Matthew Rutler.
She wrote, “He asked and I said……” including a sweet photo of her hand with a beautiful diamond ring while holding his hand with a beach scenery behind them.
The 33-year-old singer met Rutler, 25, met on the set of her 2010 film, “Burlesque,” where he was working as a production assistant.
According to E! News, the couple has been living together in Aguilera’s Mulholland Estates mansion in Los Angeles, which she bought in April 2013 for $10 million.
While Aguilera and Rutler kept their relationship private, they have been photographed together several times, including the singer’s birthday in December.
This will be the second marriage for Aguilera, who was previously married to Jordan Bratman from November 2005 to October 2010. They finalized their divorce on Valentine’s Day 2011.
They share custody of 6-year-old son Max.
